VOLUNTEER WITH THE TEMPLE!
Each year, the Burning Man Temple build is an enormous communal effort. Hundreds of people get involved as volunteers in pre-playa activities, and 70+ people spend up to 2.5 weeks in the Black Rock Desert before the Burning Man event starts.
The Temple brings together people with a myriad of skills as well as “unskilled" volunteers who want to learn on the job. We invite everyone to join our team!

(1) GET CONNECTED
Join the email list and tell us about you by filling out this volunteer form. We send out a logistics email mid-week every week! If you’re not receiving them, check your spam folder or email us!
Join the Temple Volunteers Facebook group to be part of the community to connect with other volunteers, see urgent requests, and receive announcements!

(2) BUILD WITH US!
Our Pre-Build is underway in Oakland, California! We build every Thursday (6-8pm) and Saturday/Sunday (10am-6pm) until mid to late July. Take a look at the build calendar or join the Facebook group for exact dates!.
Doors open 15 min prior and each day begins with a team briefing so come on time!
You don't need to have any prior build skills or fancy equipment.
You also don't need to wait for any email confirmation from us. Just come to the shop as you are!
